Boston NCS
Leslie J. Cook

VP, Senior Commercial Underwriting Counsel

I look at every transaction, regardless of size or complexity, from the client's point of view in order to determine exactly what they need to accomplish for their clients. My goal is to provide a distinctly positive and collaborative experience so they will continue to value my skills, expertise and responsiveness as much as I value their business.

Leslie serves as Vice President and Senior Commercial Underwriting Counsel for Commonwealth Land Title's Boston National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. A title industry veteran, she began her career in 1985 as an underwriting attorney with SAFECO Title. After a few years in private practice, Leslie worked for Chicago Title, First American, and then back to Chicago Title in 2001 working in both agency and direct operations. Now, as a member of the Boston NCS team, she looks forward to continuing her dedication to offering clients creative solutions in a timely manner despite any challenges that may arise. Leslie has underwritten virtually every type of commercial transaction in the industry, from small to large. She has worked on projects involving federal and state governments, colleges and universities, hospitals, casinos, air rights, and energy plants, in addition to office towers, mixed use and multi phased development, condominium complexes and waterfront projects.
