Sophie Stein serves as Vice President, Senior Commercial Transactions Counsel, for Commonwealth Land Title's Boston National Commercial Services (NCS) operation.  She joined the company in 2006 and has provided title insurance for many single and multi-site transactions. Sophie's representative transactions include Equity - Blackstone, Ink Block, One Kendall Square, Continuum in Allston, Boston Harbor Garage, Curry College, Market Street Development in Lynnfield, Northpoint Project, Taj Hotel, One and Two International Place, Liberty Wharf, and multiple affordable housing projects and bond transactions throughout the Commonwealth.

Sophie is a member of CREW Boston, CREW Network, and Real Estate Bar for Massachusetts (REBA). She has lectured at MCLE and Boston Bar Association on various title insurance related topics. Prior to joining the company, Sophie worked for another large title underwriter in residential and commercial underwriting.

Sophie is a graduate of Moscow University in Moscow, Russia and Suffolk University Law School. She enjoys theater, reading, travel and family.
